(Loveland, CO) – Multi-talented entertainer George Lopez, whose career encompasses television, film, standup comedy and late-night television, returns to the Budweiser Events Center for the first time since 2012 on Saturday, August 23 at 8 p.m.
Tickets for Lopez’ “Listen to My Face” Tour, presented by The Ranch and TRI 102.5, are $39.50, $59.50 and $75 and go on sale this Friday, May 16 at 10 a.m. Tickets will be available for purchase at www.ComcastTIX.com, 877-544-TIXX (8499) or at the Budweiser Events Center Box Office.
Lopez has risen to become one of the premier comedic talents in the entertainment industry, having been praised by audiences and critics alike for his work in television, film and standup, as well as his extensive charity work with various foundations.
In his newest venture, Lopez stars in a scripted TV series on FX called “Saint George,” which premiered in March 2014. He also hosted Lopez Tonight, a late night talk show on TBS, and starred in “George Lopez,” which ran for six seasons on ABC.
On the big screen, Lopez voiced the character Rafael in the animated blockbuster “Rio,” along with Jamie Foxx, Anne Hathaway and Jesse Eisenberg, and Grouchy Smurf in “The Smurfs.” His other most recent film credits include the box-office hit “Valentine’s Day,” “Swing Vote,” and “Balls of Fury.”
The Los Angeles native was named one of the 25 Most Influential Hispanics in America by “Time” in 2006, and he was named one of the Top Ten Favorite Television Personalities by the Harris Poll. Lopez has made more than 200 television comedy, talk show and hosting appearances, including co-hosting the Emmy Awards and twice hosting the Latin Grammys.
