Meet the Team

 

 

Rick Hontz, Regional Vice President, Spectra Venue Management and Food Services & Hospitality

Rick was the marketing manager at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA for three years before becoming the assistant general manager of Sovereign Bank Arena in Trenton, NJ. From Trenton, Rick moved to become the assistant general manager at the Budweiser Events Center and was eventually promoted to general manager of the facility. Rick graduated from Bloomberg University  in 1994 with a BA in advertising/public relations.

Keller Taylor, General Manager

Keller has lead the team at the Budweiser Events Center as General Manager since April 2016. Prior to arriving in Colorado he lead a $8 million renovation and $18 million new construction project as the General Manager at the Central National Bank Center in Enid, Oklahoma, a Spectra by Comcast Spectacor managed facility, which includes a 53,000 sq ft convention center and 3,800 seat arena. Prior to Enid, Keller was the Director of Event Operations and part of a team that opened the 6,800 seat HEB Center at Cedar Park near Austin, Texas. Keller also has experience working within the University of South Carolina Athletics Department as well as the Ohio University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics. Keller is from the Columbia, SC area and attended the University of South Carolina receiving his BBA in 2006 and completed a dual degree program at Ohio University in 2008 and 2009 receiving an MBA and MSA (Master of Sports Admin and Facility Management).

Dave Namesnik, Assistant General Manager

Dave was the director of corporate sales at the Budweiser Events Center for four years prior to becoming the assistant general manager. Dave has also worked in sales at the Fort Collins Coloradoan and the Loveland Reporter Herald. Dave graduated from the University of Northern Colorado in 1998 with a BA in speech communications/journalism.

Mary Lou Henson, Director of Finance

Mary Lou’s former position was business manager at the Pueblo Convention Center from 1997 until 2003. Mary Lou has been employee of the month in 2006 and 2007. She has also taken several accounting courses learning whatever it took to excel as a finance director.

Mike Boschert, Marketing Coordinator

Mike's former positions include; Marketing Coordinator at the St. Charles Convention Center (Missouri) and Social Media Manager for the Springfield Hearing Center (Missouri). Mike graduated from Missouri State University with a BS in Public Relations with a minor in Advertising & Promotions.

Dana Drake, Director of Corporate Sales

Dana has over 15 years’ experience in TV and Broadcast Sales prior to joining Corporate Partnerships. Most recently Dana was a Regional Executive Account Manager for Comcast Spotlight in the Loveland/Ft. Collins market. Before joining Spotlight, Dana was in radio sales for several years and his positions included: National Sales Manager and Sr. Account Manager at the Journal Broadcast Group and Sr. Marketing Managing Consultant at Peak Broadcasting.  Prior to his extensive carrier in sales Dana worked as a Sales and Promotions Manager for an AB Distributor.

Tom Manning, Director of Operations

Tom began his career in 1998 with the Verizon Wireless (Sandstone) Amphitheater in Bonner Springs, Kan. before moving to Kemper Arena/American Royal Center in Kansas City in 2003 and the Independence (Missouri) Events Center (now the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena) in 2009.
