Oversees and assists with conversions and operational needs for facility events.
Obtain data sheets from Coordinator or Operations Manager and complete conversions completely according to the data sheet
Lead part-time employees and contract labor to ensure timely and quality work performances when on same shift
Work side by side with part time employees, contract labor, and independent contractors as required
Operate machinery as required, including ice resurfacers, edgers, fork lift, bob cat, dump truck, and tractor
Facilitate the smooth operation of the department
Trouble shoot and repair equipment
Participate in event duty rotation
Work closely with part-time employees to ensure facility is properly maintained before, during and after events
Follow building programs and guidelines
Follow safety requirements and environmental regulations
Perform facility maintenance, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and painting
Report and fill out proper forms on safety hazards and accidents/injuries
Communicate departmental information within organization as appropriate
Maintain a high spirit of morale throughout the department
Set an example of professionalism and courtesy within working environment

While performing the essential functions of the job, the employee constantly communicates via email, telephone and in-person with others to exchange accurate information; constantly lifts, moves and places facility equipment or objects; may occasionally operate a forklift and other equipment; constantly moves about the facility to supervise and inspect the work of the Operations staff and meet with internal and external clients/contacts before/during/after events.
The essential functions of this position are performed indoors and occasionally outdoors in the weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud during events and when equipment is running and minimal during non-events and when equipment is not running.
